Alexandra Dahlström and Zoë Que have both posted a video of Drömfabriken (Dream Baby Dream) on their Vimeo accounts. It seems that this is the work in progress piece they shared at the Stockholm Film Festival this year and hopefully we will get to see the entire film sometime.
Two best friends, Alex (Hedda Stiernstedt) and Valentina (Alexandra Dahlström), dream about conquering the world together. But when they go to Los Angeles and audition for the same part, they start competing about the big breakthrough. Eventually Alex has to ask herself what she’s willing to do to achieve success?
Today is a wonderful day! Dunja Vujovic has shared her short film Love Revisited on Vimeo in full length and with English subtitles! I very much enjoyed it and since I don’t want to spoil anything I’m going to post the video here so you can watch and enjoy.
And so it begins! The 28th annual Stockholm International Film Festival has kicked off with its opening film Shape of Water at Biograf Skandia. Here is a photo of Alexandra on the red carpet with a yet-to-be-identified friend. I’m loving her new shorter hairstyle and that skirt is amazing!
As I patiently await this year’s Stockholm International Film Festival, it seems Alexandra did a photo shoot recently with photographer Sussie Mellstedt. Her makeup was done by Veni Vidi Vendela Makeup who posted the video below as well as a photo on Instagram.
My apologies for the lack of updates. My real life has been crazy busy with a new house, a new job and social obligations galore which is unusual for me. It’s that time of the year again and the Stockholm International Film Festival is approaching! This year it will take place from November 8th to November 19th and some goodies have already started to pop up online.
Firstly, Alexandra Dahlström will be presenting a work in progress called Drömfabriken on November 15th with Amna Maksumic.
Secondly, a trailer for Elin Övergaard’s short film Förebilder (Picture World) has been released. Alexandra appears in it but does not have any lines.
The Way Out West Pride (West Pride) took place during the festival this year. Alexandra Dahlström took part in a panel interview called Fucking Queer from Then to Now. It’s in Swedish only so I can’t give too much more information but it’s always nice to find new videos!
The Way Out West festival took place in Gothenburg from August 10th – 12th this summer. Alexandra Dahlström attended the event and was part of the line-up this year. There was a screening of the newly digitized version of Fucking Åmål as well as many parties. See the gallery of photos below as well as an interview with Alexandra from Göteborgs-Posten.
