This is something that doesn’t happen very often but when it does it’s a wonderful day! I found a new photo from way back in Spring of 1999 of Alexandra Dahlström and Rebecca Liljeberg. It was taken by Peter Jansson somewhere in Helsinki, Finland.
Alexandra Dahlström directed a music video by Suzi P titled “Shunon.” It has been released and you can check it out on YouTube.
Today is Alexandra’s birthday and not only that but she shared some huge news on her Instagram today!
You should be able to get the message from her photos but here is a loose translation of what she wrote:
Embracing 35 years with open arms. Celebrating my day by editing a music video and well… becoming parents this summer with a person that I love. Cheers!
A huge congratulations to Alexandra & Jakob! This is such exciting news!
Wishing a very happy birthday to Alexandra Dahlström today!
There is a blog post by Wendy Heijn who made Alexandra’s beautiful dress for the Guldbaggegalan this year. The best part is it’s in English!
A few more images have popped up from the Guldbaggegalan 2019. Not nearly as many as I would have liked but hopefully there will be more.
If you are in the mood to watch the entire awards show you can do so for a limited time on the SVT website. It’s only available in Swedish with Swedish subtitles as an option.
The 54th annual Guldbagge Awards took place on January 28th at Cirkus in Stockholm, Sweden. Alexandra Dahlström attended the event with her boyfriend Jakob Wiklander and the pair were photographed on the red carpet together. SVT has the entire red carpet event posted on their website for a limited time. Click the image below to be redirected. I’m in Canada and had no issues watching it. Skip ahead to around the 1 hour 20 minutes mark to see Alexandra & Jakob.
Here are more stills from the red carpet.
The 29th annual Stockholm International Film Festival kicked off on November 6th with the world premiere of Anna Odell’s film X & Y at Skandia in Stockholm. Alexandra attended with her boyfriend Jakob Wiklander. I’ve been on the lookout for photos but the only photos available so far (that I’ve found) are from Scanpix meaning they are watermarked and the one above from Alexandra’ Instagram story. Despite the lack of photos online they look great together and I would love to see more photos from the festival!
