The 29th annual Stockholm International Film Festival kicked off on November 6th with the world premiere of Anna Odell’s film X & Y at Skandia in Stockholm. Alexandra attended with her boyfriend Jakob Wiklander. I’ve been on the lookout for photos but the only photos available so far (that I’ve found) are from Scanpix meaning they are watermarked and the one above from Alexandra’ Instagram story. Despite the lack of photos online they look great together and I would love to see more photos from the festival!
Johan Rosell’s short film Banana Pancake Trail will be competing in the 1KM Film section of the Stockholm International Film Festival taking place this November 7th to 18th. Alexandra will most likely be attending the festival this year so this will be a good opportunity to keep an eye out for photos and videos!
SIFF recently shared this still of Alexandra as Maya on their website.
Alexandra Dahlström and Farzad Farzaneh are going to be up to something at the Pristutdelning STOCKmotion (Prize Distribution) today. I’m not sure if she’ll be receiving an award, presenting or hosting but definitely something to keep an eye on today! It’s about 5pm in Stockholm as I’m typing this so we may not need to wait very long for (hopefully) some photos to appear online.
Update: Some photos have started to appear online!
And so it begins! The 28th annual Stockholm International Film Festival has kicked off with its opening film Shape of Water at Biograf Skandia. Here is a photo of Alexandra on the red carpet with a yet-to-be-identified friend. I’m loving her new shorter hairstyle and that skirt is amazing!
My apologies for the lack of updates. My real life has been crazy busy with a new house, a new job and social obligations galore which is unusual for me. It’s that time of the year again and the Stockholm International Film Festival is approaching! This year it will take place from November 8th to November 19th and some goodies have already started to pop up online.
Firstly, Alexandra Dahlström will be presenting a work in progress called Drömfabriken on November 15th with Amna Maksumic.
Secondly, a trailer for Elin Övergaard’s short film Förebilder (Picture World) has been released. Alexandra appears in it but does not have any lines.
The Way Out West Pride (West Pride) took place during the festival this year. Alexandra Dahlström took part in a panel interview called Fucking Queer from Then to Now. It’s in Swedish only so I can’t give too much more information but it’s always nice to find new videos!
The Way Out West festival took place in Gothenburg from August 10th – 12th this summer. Alexandra Dahlström attended the event and was part of the line-up this year. There was a screening of the newly digitized version of Fucking Åmål as well as many parties. See the gallery of photos below as well as an interview with Alexandra from Göteborgs-Posten.
