In some other news Kornél Kovács released a music video yesterday for Purple Skies which was directed by Alexandra Dahlström and she even has a brief leopard-clad cameo at around the 2 minute mark. Very visually beautiful music video. Well done again!
Leave it to Alexandra Dahlström to spend her birthday editing a music video! Klara & Jag have released the official music video for Måste jag dö? which I believe is the romantic music video Alexandra teased about on her Instagram. Catchy song too!
The 54th annual Guldbagge Awards took place on January 28th at Cirkus in Stockholm, Sweden. Alexandra Dahlström attended the event with her boyfriend Jakob Wiklander and the pair were photographed on the red carpet together. SVT has the entire red carpet event posted on their website for a limited time. Click the image below to be redirected. I’m in Canada and had no issues watching it. Skip ahead to around the 1 hour 20 minutes mark to see Alexandra & Jakob.
Here are the still images from the short film Banana Pancake Trail that I’ve collected so far. Presented in no particular order.
As a bonus to these lovely photos, Arpi Sahakyan has a cinematographer reel posted with multiple scenes from the film. There is no dialogue and the scenes are throughout the reel. Definitely worth a watch!
This past Spring Alexandra Dahlström finished a short film called Banana Pancake Trail. It is directed by Johan Rosell and is set to screen at the Uppsala Film Festival on October 25th and on SVT sometime in January. Here you’ll find a scene between Alexandra Dahlström & costar Erik Bolin. There are no subtitles unfortunately and it’s only in Swedish. The video should load at the correct spot but if not you’ll want to tune in at 4 minutes, 58 seconds.
Maya has kept away from Sweden for the past years and lives a wandering life in Southeast Asia without any intention of ever returning. But when she finds out the only person she’s still in contact with back home only has days left to live, she quickly needs to get enough money together to pay for a plane ticket.
It’s been eleven years to the day that Alexandra made her debut on the Dutch soap opera Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden and it’s taken exactly that long for me to get a hold of the episodes.
Alexandra appeared in eleven episodes back in 2007 as Skylar Nilsson. She also returned for four more episodes in 2008. I’ve compiled all of her clips from each episode of season 17 which you can download and watch via this link or by clicking the image below.
