Synopsis: Director Fia-Stina Sandlund and actor Alexandra Dahlstrom meet at Arlanda Airport one day in June for an audition. Three days later they are to give a performance at the Venice Biennale in the shape of an interview. Alexandra, in character as Julie, will answer questions regarding Fia-Stina Sandlund’s film project She’s Wild Again Tonight, which is a contemporary ‘take’ on the famous August Strindberg play Miss Julie. During three days all the preparations for the interview are being filmed. It turns out that Alexandra, as well as Fia-Stina, share many similarities with the character they are trying to create – they have both felt stigmatized by the roles they have played as radical feminists. Alexandra as the rebellious teenage girl in Lucas Moodyson’s film Fucking Åmål (Show Me Love), Fia-Stina as the artist who crashed the Miss Sweden contest during a live broadcast on Swedish TV in 2001. During the time Fia-Stina and Alexandra are studying, rehearsing and sharing sunscreen a unique bond is building. The day of the performance the expectations are running high. – But – suddenly a small catastrophe takes place, which causes the performance to take an unexpected turn. Is the ghost of Strindberg once again to blame?
