It’s never too late to find photos I haven’t seen before! Here are three from the 2015 Stockholm International Film Festival. The first photo is Alexandra Dahlström with friend Stefan Nylén.
Elin Övergaard has a new short film called Förebilder (Picture World) which premiered during the Göteborg Film Festival this year. It’s a 13-minute short film in Swedish and is about a modelling agent named Evan who tries to do a good deed during a fashion shoot. Alexandra Dahlström is in the film though I can’t say what her role is. In the photo posted on the Göteborg Film Festival website – as well as Elin’s Tumblr – I can spot Alexandra on the left with the mug in her hand and her head turned away. Hopefully this as well as some of Elin’s other short films will be available online soon!
Alexandra Dahlström is attending the 40th annual Göteborg Film Festival this year from January 27th to February 6th. Here are a couple photos from opening night at the premiere of Tom of Finland at Draken.
On February 2nd there is a Film Profile of Alexandra Dahlström taking place at the festival. There isn’t much information available yet but I’m hoping she’ll be there in person.
The 52nd annual Guldbagge Awards took place on January 23rd at Cirkus in Stockholm.
The only photos available so far are from Alexandra’s Instagram and they are very fun so I’d love to see more!
So this is a pretty unique find! Here is a song from Saga Gärde’s short film Babysister by Sophia Ersson. I can’t recall how I came across it but I like it.
A lovely black and white photo from behind the scene’s of Chateau Majorica posted on Tumblr on October 13th.
A couple of photos from AnnaMelina’s Tumblr page of Alexandra Dahlström on Barnhusbron, a bridge in Stockholm, Sweden. The photos were posted in May 2015 and looks like they may have been taken during the shooting for AnnaMelina’s Tills Det Blir Lätt music video.
The 27th Annual Stockholm International Film Festival took place this year from November 9th-20th.
Alexandra Dahlström attended the awards ceremony at Berns on November 18th with a friend who I’ve not yet identified.
I must say I love this look! The dress, the hair, the belt. Stunning! It’s a shame there are little to no photos from the event.
The Yayoi Kusama exhibit In Infinity debuted on September 6th at Moderna Museet in Stockholm.
Yayoi Kusama’s (b. 1929) remarkable artistic practice has fascinated the public for over six decades. Like few other artists she moves resolutely between painting and sculpture, between art and design, and between East and West. Moderna Museet and ArkDes are now featuring Kusama in a retrospective exhibition covering her oeuvre from early nature studies to installations that suspend time and space.
Alexandra Dahlström attended the opening with friend My Zackrisson. I would love to see more photos from this event!
Three new finds added to the 2015 Guldbagge Awards photo album.
