I discovered another photo of Alexandra from April 2012 on Instagram. It’s kind of blurry but we take what we can get!
I’ve finished the video section and it’s now ready for visitors! You can save the videos like before and I’ve also added new stuff like some clips from Like Love But For Real and Player. Check it out!
I’ve opened the “Links” page which currently has links to watch some of Alexandra’s films online. I’ll need your help keeping it up to date so let me know if any links become invalid.
I spent my afternoon watching videos of Sen kväll med Luuk from back in 2004 in hopes of seeing Alexandra as Luuk’s DJ and sidekick. Well I had some success! There were some short but fun clips I was able to gather and they are the first videos that are available in the video gallery.
The entire finale of Luuk’s show is posted on YouTube and you can catch Alexandra in the background throughout but mostly it’s blurry or far away. If you’re interested it’s posted here and runs for about 45 minutes. There’s also a “Best Of” video but I didn’t catch Alexandra in that one.
Let me tell you between watching the videos and editing them down – I totally have Luuk’s theme song stuck in my head.
I accidentally came across 3 photos I hadn’t seen from the Film Workshop for Young Women Alexandra was at in 2012.
Looks like Alexandra is involved in a screen writer/film education workshop called Manuspiloterna. Not much information available just yet as to whether she was teaching or participating but I’m sure there will be more to come.
There is some information available on the website – all in Swedish of course so best to have Google Translate on hand! http://www.manuspiloterna.se/
Things are a bit more stable now. Have my desktop computer back and online. Ahh the joys of a big screen. And things here seem stable as well as things here online. So provided that the photo section doesn’t go haywire on me again, I have uploaded stuff from 2012-2013 with LOTS more coming.
A few things that might or might not be of interest – Photos are names as such YYYY-MM-DD and the last digit (if there) indicates it’s a series of photos from the same time. If I didn’t have any date information on when the photo was taken I simply number them 001, 002 and so forth. In the “image info” you can see if you download anything from the gallery, all original photographers have been credited when possible, all parties in the photo have been identified when possible and I also tried to source a link as to where to photo originated from. Again – this is stuff you’ll probably only notice if you’re saving photos straight from the gallery.
It’s a work in progress so please bear with me!
