Lukas Moodysson’s comedy series Gösta premiered on HBO Nordin on July 1, 2019. The premiere took place on June 12, 2019 at Biograf Saga in Stockholm followed by an after party at Mr. Voon. Alexandra Dahlström was in attendance as was Rebecca Liljeberg! Unfortunately I have yet to find a photo of them together at the premiere but there are still some lovely photos that surfaced online!
This is something that doesn’t happen very often but when it does it’s a wonderful day! I found a new photo from way back in Spring of 1999 of Alexandra Dahlström and Rebecca Liljeberg. It was taken by Peter Jansson somewhere in Helsinki, Finland.
With the digital revival of Fucking Åmål recently, the updated version of the film was screened at Bio Victor, Filmhuset in Stockholm yesterday night. The event was sold out and photos have started to appear online.
Following the film there was a discussion with Alexandra Dahlström, Rebecka Liljeberg and film producer Lars Jönsson. They discussed the film, the Guldbagges and the film’s significance today.
One video has popped up on Instagram of Alexandra & Rebecka signing autographs for fans.
If you’re interested in a few extra photos check them all out in the photo gallery. A lot of them were similar so I didn’t post them all here.
What’s new? Well I’ve moved again. It seems to be an every 3 year thing with me. Anyways, it was a good move. All settled and back to my routine. I’ve been following Alexandra on Instagram and she’s been keeping very busy which is excellent to see! I hope we’ll get to see more of her in the media soon. In the meantime, I’ve found a
teeny-tiny photo online and my best guess tells me it’s from 1998-ish. Here’s a very young Alexandra Dahlström with Rebecka Liljeberg taken by Magnus Jönsson.
Edit: I found a slightly larger version of the photo and have replaced the tiny one.
Can you believe it’s been 15 years yesterday since Fucking Åmål was released? In honor of it’s 15th anniversary Radio Sweden did an interview with director Lukas Moodysson. The audio is in Swedish so I can’t understand it. I need to learn the language it would make things so much easier! Haha!
